The Nursing CARES Program is a nurse-focused homebuyer & home seller assistance program serving nurses in Delaware and Pennsylvania. Your dedication to caring for others inspires us every day. Now, let us support you - with resources and benefits designed to make your next real estate transaction easier and more rewarding.  This initiative, offered by a nurse‑owned business in partnership with the Delaware Nurses Association (DNA), provides exclusive benefits and discounts to nurses buying a home in Delaware & Pennsylvania. Applicable credits can also be used by Nurses selling their home.

THE CARES HOMEBUYER - HOMESELLER PROGRAM BENEFITS 

• Closing Cost Credits:
  • $500 credit from REALTOR® (or $550 for DNA members).
  • $1,000 lender credit ($500 for loans under $250K).
  • Credits are NOT subject to any income limits, but you must work with the program lender & real estate agent

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Must be actively employed as a nurse with a verifiable license.
• Applies to RNs, LPNs, NPs, APRNs, and other licensed nursing professionals.
• Eligibility for additional assistance programs is determined during mortgage pre-approval process and is subject to availability and income restrictions.

FAQs

• Do nurses qualify for Delaware homebuyer grants?   Yes, nurses can access state and federal programs in addition to Nursing CARES benefits (subject to availability, income restrictions may apply).
• Can I use Nursing CARES with FHA or VA loans?   Yes, the program works alongside traditional loan products.
• Is this only for first‑time buyers?   No, repeat buyers and home sellers can also benefit from applicable services under the CARES Program.
•  Do I need to use a specific agent or lender? Yes, the program is not funded by the state or county and benefits come directly from participating providers so you would need to use the agent & lender, and other partners to take advantage of the benefits.
• Can this program be used if I'm selling my home? Of course!  Any benefits applicable to selling your home can be used under the program.
• Can I sell my home and buy a new one through the CARES Program? Great question! These are two are separate transactions, so you can take advantage of the applicable CARES benefits for each one!
