Speaking of Ice Cream…Kick off summer with one of Delaware’s sweetest traditions! The Ice Cream Festival at Rockwood Park - Saturday, June 28 @ Rockwood Park & Museum. Enjoy a full day of local ice cream vendors, food trucks, live music, children’s activities, museum tours, a maker market, and fireworks at dusk. A perfect family-friendly event to cool down and celebrate summer. Admission: $5 per person (kids 12 and under free with an adult). Hockessin July 4th Festival & Fireworks - Friday July 4th. Celebrate Independence Day in style with a community festival on Old Lancaster Pike, complete with a parade, family games, and a fireworks finale over Swift Park. Admission is free!
